[mightiness defense]

Lately, religiosity is being an important issue in daily life. Many things happen in the name of religions.

In my case, yes, I have a faith that I hold dearly. Yet, I could not say that I can not share few things that I do not like in the religion. Yes, I divide those into two different things. Most of the time, religion is the organization(s) which have responsibilities to ensure the faith keep going on track. That the followers would behave as expected. Sometimes, unfortunately, the organizations talk about marketing ideas too!

Many violences in the name of religion happen in the world. Many claim what they have done in the name of the Almighty. Many believe that they did the right things, no matter how many people suffer due to their acts. That what they did might cause negative images instead of positive as expected.

In smaller circumstances, I have experiences to deal with people who actively participate in many religious activities and organizations. Sometimes they note certain verses. Playing to live their lives accordingly. Practice what they read from the Bible and/or as what the leaders’ said so.

However, I also have several experiences that religious participations do not always lead to best practices. There is a family who is dare to point that others’ faiths are wrong, but they also sold their older sister’s house without consent. Not to say, a middle-aged woman who dedicates her time to work for the Almighty but also chose to get more money instead of fulfilling her agreement. She even put the blame to the other party whom she made agreement.

There are many people who try “to sow” seeds in many hearts, and see what is “the best fruit” that they can “reap” and forget the rest. Believe it or not, it happens frequently and the person usually think that they are just being kind to everyone and it was not their faults if some people feel neglected. Sometimes, they even try “to sow” in other hearts whenever they feel that the fruit that they have reap is ain’t that good!

Yes, I could not agree more with what a dear friend said to me. It is not the fault of the faith or the religions. People did that! People are the ones who commit to sins. Nothing wrong with the religions. Faith always leads to great and lovely things. Religions always guard on good things. Indeed!

Due to that reason, no matter what, I still stand on what I believe.

But, I could not deny that I have became a cynic, more than ever. I do not think -and believe- that the Almighty really wants us to defend the mightiness. Yes, we need to defend what we believe. But does it mean that we need to force others to believe what we believe? Does it mean that the Almighty want us to make war with others just to check who is the most Almighty -ours or theirs?

Phew, dear the Almighty, do YOU really want us to defend your mightiness?

Yes, it is more logic for me to believe that it is not what the Almighty wants. It is what humans want. In the name of EGO. To proof that what they believe is the most truth. To proof that WE are better than THEM. To divide. Wishing to be powerful even only a little and for a while.
