Homo homini lupus…
Have you ever heard it?
Nein, it has nothing to do with homosexuality.
Or lupus, one of terrifying disease.
But, you can mixed them both and get the meaning of “homo homini lupus”.
A person is a wolf to others.
Wolf is a predatory carnivorous canine mammals.
Wolf is also a term which can be used for a person with cruelly rapacious behavior.
And person?
It is a term for the highest creature in this universe, well, at least in this world.
Person is a creature which blessed with brain and mind.
Then, why?
Why it has to be mixed in one sentence?
How come two kind of creatures, from different part of the food chain, become one?
What’s wrong with becoming a human?
Human has the legitimation to conquer this world with all its stuffs.
We also have brain to think how to conquer the world
We can stand by our own feet to walk anywhere we want to.
And of course, we can think-read-type and so on for do something with this blog.
Why Plautus and Hobbes said it that way?
Should we be downgrade?
Should we bow down our knees and walk by 4 feets?
Should we kiss the road?
Come on…
Get real!
If we have legitimation, then it would be alright to do whatever we want to do.
We may exploit the natural resources. Sell it, and we gonna be rich.
We may cut the trees and build the most adorable building.
We may throw anything that we don’t need anymore.
We may catch any creatures, as much as we want.
We may do whatever we want to do, even it more than what we need.
So? What’s wrong?
We have brain.
We are clever.
Then, if we are more clever than other humans,
then…
Why we can’t treat the them as non-human creatures?
Yah, a supervisor of the non-human creatures, if they decline the term.
Not much different!
If we have “more brains” than others, then it means that we are higher than the rest.
We may gain more resources, including human resources.
We may use more resources, including humans.
We may sell more resources, including the supervisors.
We also may give any judgements and put any kind of label to others.
And we gonna be the highest creature ever lived.
YUPES.
Why not?
It is a simple thing…
It only needs one simple answer…
We may, but we should not.
Because, we were born not only with brain…
but also consciences.
Not because we have brain then we forget our consciences.
We blessed with hearts to divide right and wrong.
To know the moral and ethical things.
But…
Consciences almost never can have a harmonious relationship with mind…
Since, mind are connected with “brain”, “intellectual” and “science”.
While consciences have a prefix “cons” which means the “opposite”.
* A script of human’s mind as a reminder for World AIDS day.
May we can have a better understanding, if we can’t hope for a better world.

There is nothing wrong with being human.
However, I must confess to having a special liking for wolves. If I had to be an animal, I would be a wolf.
I even have a picture of a wolf as my desktop background.
selamat menjadi manusia yang berkesadaran.

nggegirisi: wes, emoh aku tako’ karo de’e… iso-iso aku dipangan… hehehe…
mnx: it’s not a disease
it’s a term…
bu guru: i know.. it is a blessing. but then, when we see the reality… what kind of blessing is that? people use their power to dominate other persons.
menjadi manusia berarti lengkap kali dengan kekurangand an kelebihannya:P

[...] people shout loudly that they have the rights to do whatever they want to. Humans are naturally homo homini lupus. We will, always, think that we have rights, but get used to forget that we do have obligations [...]
